For more than 20 years, Tommy Duncan has been perfecting the art of barbecue. From building his business, first Whiskey Ranch BBQ and WRgrill and then Tommy's Wood Fired Grill Co., to competing in world-class barbecue competitions around the nation, barbecue is more than a way of life, it’s a family tradition. He now has expanded into all varieties of culinary creations. Any menu that you can dream up he and his team can produce. And know that with his old school blends of charcoal and fine woods, the BOLD flavors are out of this world!
Taking his “old school” training from Grandma, Tommy has built his business from the “pit” up. He has turned his love of barbecue into a successful 100% mobile catering business that caters to groups of 50 to 20,000 with ease. Tommy’s unique company model includes offering team building classes and events, flavor profiling and consulting services for restaurants and hosting private and group pro-BBQ competition classes.
Tommy is a member of the Kansas City Barbeque Association (KCBS), the National BBQ Association (Tommy is a NBBAQ), the International BBQ Cookers Association (IBCA) and more. The charities he supports are numerous: Kristie’s Foundation (Hospice for Children) in California; the Turnbow Foundation; the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arizona, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, AZ Adoption & Foster Care System, Horses Help, Alice Cooper's Solid Rock and Christmas Pudding, just to name a few.
In his rare spare time, Tommy enjoys hot rods, Harleys and traveling with his family. He resides with his family in Gilbert, Arizona.
